What a guy! Possibly the best lecture I have ever seen and what an inspiration that fellow is. The lecture titled 'Futureproofing' left nothing unsaid, everything through the worlds of technology to politics were covered in new and interesting ways. The overall message was to 'look forward and set your sights for the future.' Something all students I imagine need some reminding sometimes as there are often period in which we think 'is it all worth it?'.
One of the most potent political points was that 'Mosquito nets are shit' they do not stop the spread of malaria and don't even try to eliminate it. We just need to fucking kill 'em! Mosquitos can be killed so lets let 'em 'av it!
He's given me quite a source of endless blogs so I'm sure many in the next few weeks will be attributed to him and his fabuloso lecture.
