My first visit to a film screening. And a barrel of laughs at that! Hot Tub Time Machine, starring John Cusack, provided laughs from the word go. The humour was 'blokey' and immature, but that's no problem if you go in knowing that you're going to be watching a cheesy movie. Where a lot of films in this genre fall down this provides some unexpected twists and edge of the seat moments, in particular with the hotel porter with one arm!Definitely a laugh-out-loud comedy, but maybe more for the male humour. The '80s throwback fashion and music is a brilliant show of how similar our current fashion is to it was back then. Leg warmers and walkmans galore!
All in all fantastic watch. The best comedy since The Hangover.
